A sustainability consultant since 1993, Scot is an internationally recognized sustainability strategist with expertise in responsible purchasing, green supply chains, and environmental marketing. He has published dozens of articles and was a key contributor to the “Sins of Greenwashing” studies that received considerable media attention. Scot has consulted with organizations around the world including the White House Office of the Federal Environmental Executive; dozens of Fortune 100 companies, including Walmart and its suppliers, Johnson & Johnson, Georgia Pacific, and Walt Disney; the World Bank; and government agencies throughout the United States and Asia. Scot earned his Masters and Bachelor degrees in Political Science from Virginia Tech.
